La historia de «Eye of the Needle»

Antes de que saliera el álbum, Sia dejó escuchar «Eye of the Needle» en streaming el 2 de junio de 2014 como adelanto de 1000 Forms of Fear. La canción la escribió junto a Chris Braide, coautor del tema, y la producción corrió a cargo de Greg Kurstin. Salió como single promocional, editado por Inertia en Australia y por Monkey Puzzle y RCA en el resto del mundo. Al año siguiente tuvo una segunda vida: Adult Swim publicó un remix con la participación de Big Freedia dentro de su programa Adult Swim Singles.
