La historia de «I need your love»

Dirigido por Emil Nava, el videoclip de «I Need Your Love» convirtió a Calvin Harris y a la cantante Ellie Goulding, que pone la voz al tema, en una pareja de viaje por Miami. Pero la historia no se queda en lo romántico: una cámara doméstica va pasando de unas manos a otras —un skater, un motorista, alguien que graba un paseo en helicóptero por Miami, una persona en moto acuática— hasta acabar en la discoteca donde Harris pincha como DJ. El vídeo abre y cierra en la misma cama.

El sencillo convirtió a Harris en el primer artista en conseguir ocho sencillos top-10 de un mismo álbum de estudio, superando el récord anterior de siete que había establecido el álbum Bad, de 1987. En 2014, la canción fue nominada a British Single of the Year en los Brit Awards y el vídeo a British Video of the Year. En abril de 2015 apareció supuestamente filtrada una versión alternativa del videoclip, mucho más oscura, centrada en Goulding vestida de negro y rodeada de niebla, con imágenes de un niño trepando a un árbol retorcido que arde o de una mujer suspendida en el aire bajo la lluvia.
